MiniComputers

The minicomputers in the collection: the machines from the era when a computer was a cabinet full of boards, and every one of them can be repaired with a scope and the original engineering drawings.

  • PDP Common info - connectors, board lists, file formats and diagnostics that are not specific to one machine.
  • The PDP 11/10 - one of the earliest PDP-11's (1972), the same machine as the 11/05, in a 5 1/4" box.
  • PDP-11/44 - a Unibus 11/44, and by now the largest pile of notes here: boards, backplanes, diagnostics and the software to run on it.
  • Peripherals - the drives and other peripherals that hang off these machines.
  • The Unibone - the Unibone/QBone device emulator, and everything done with it.
  • The HP 1000 (2100 E-series 2113B) - a 16 bit HP minicomputer from around 1976, complete in a rack with its disk subsystem and paper tape reader.
