Mini fast pulse generator

I made a small pulse generator using the 74AC14 as an oscillator:

The generator built dead-bug style on a scrap of copper clad, with an SMA jack at one end and the 74AC14 in the middle.

The pulse does not disappoint. It has a 7.4KHz frequency:

The output at 50us per division: a clean square wave at 7.394kHz.

and the rise time:

The same edge at 2ns per division. The cursors span 2.68ns across the rise, with a little overshoot settling out afterwards.

1.24ns rise is nice.
